B.Sc. Nursing
A Professional B.Sc. Nursing Course of four years duration, is conducted at the college. On completion of the course, the candidate is eligible to be registered as a qualified Nurse by West Bengal Nursing Council, to work in any health set up namely Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Community Health set up or work as an instructor in schools and Colleges of Nursing.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY OF THE B.Sc NURSING COURSE

Minimum Qualification - Class XII (X+II) Passed from Science stream, compulsorily with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English .

Minimum Marks to be obtained in class XII is 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

Only female candidates are eligible.

Candidate should be more than 17 year of age on December 31, 2021

Nationality : candidates are required to be Indian citizen
NOTE : Entrance test conducted by JENPAS, Choice of the college is by JENPAS, through counseling at it's designated centre. Number of seats available for B.Sc (Nursing) course at the college is 50 at present. Hostel living is mandatory except in special cases.
PRESENT FEES STRUCTURE OF THE COLLEGE (Session : 2021-2025) While visiting the institutes, candidates must follow necessary COVID norms.

ATTENDANCE
80% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in clinical experience is compulsory, to become eligible for appearing in the University examinations held at the end of each academic year.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Students are expected to maintain the timings of clinical practice and classes punctually.

They are expected to wear the prescribed uniform in the clinical fields as well as when directed to do so.

They should report any emergency to their Instructor or Co-ordinators immediately.

Library study is compulsory and timings of the library study have to be followed.

Regarding failure in examination and shortage of percentage in attendance, University rules and regulations will be followed.

Since clinical practice fields are affiliated ones, students have to be especially careful of their attitude and behaviour during practice.

Education brings changes and all round improvement, so it has to be demonstrated in knowledge and practice.
